NATIONAL GARDEN WEEK
National Garden Week is observed the first full week in June. Each year, The Garden Club of Downers Grove presents a program at the Downers Grove Public Library, co-sponsored by the Library, with a guest speaker and garden-related theme. Open to the public, free admission, seating is limited.

Plant Clinic Manager at the Morton Arboretum
The plant clinic is a tree- and plant-focused resource for homeowners, gardeners and landscape professionals in the Chicago region and beyond.
Julie holds a certification as a Nurseryman Professional through the Illinois Green Industry Association and is a member of the Illinois Landscape Contractor Association.
A mayoral proclamation was read at the Downers Grove Village Council meeting. Downers Grove Mayor Bob Barnett and Club members are pictured.
In addition, National Garden Week signs were displayed at the Club's civic garden projects in the area.
