NATIONAL GARDEN WEEK

National Garden Week is observed in June. Each year, The Garden Club of Downers Grove presents a program at the Downers Grove Public Library, co-sponsored by the Library, with a guest speaker and garden-related theme.

“The Urban Coyote”
Presenter: Forest Preserve District of DuPage County

Investigate coyote populations in urban areas and examine natural history,
lifestyle and social structures of coyotes.

Downers Grove Mayor Barnett proclaimed June 23-29, 2024 to be National Garden Week. Member Sandy K. accepted the Proclamation on behalf the Club. In celebration of Garden Week, the Garden Club of Downers will partner with the Downers Grove Library and present a FREE program, “Urban Coyote”
